A special exhibition....... The Mothers Union at St Cyprian’s Church, Lenzie would like to invite everyone to a of display shoes worn by people who have been involved in or affected by domestic abuse.
The shoes have been collected by the Scottish Interfaith Group on Domestic Abuse – www.ifgoda.org.uk – and will be displayed in our church with a short message beside each pair. Our aim is to highlight the effect abuse has on all concerned.
We are having two events –
Wednesday 10th October 2018 at 7.30pm – where you will be able to see the display then hear a short talk and film by our guest speaker Hilary Moran. Tea and coffee will be provided
Saturday 13th October 2018 10am till 1pm when the church will be open for anyone to come and see the display.
Sunday 7th October is our Harvest celebration at St. Cyprians, particularly at our service at 10,30am. As well as celebrating harvest we will receive harvest gifts - tins, packets, toiletries - please no fresh food - which will be passed on to the Kirkintilloch Food Bank. ... See MoreSee Less
